Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Metella Road Public School, we are committed to providing every child with the best possible start to their learning journey. Our dedicated staff work closely with families and the community to ensure that students not only achieve academic success, but also grow as confident, respectful and resilient young people.

Student wellbeing and belonging are at the heart of everything we do. We value student voice, leadership, and the importance of creating an inclusive culture where every learner feels supported and celebrated. Our classrooms are dynamic spaces where every child is encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. We focus on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, while also providing rich opportunities for students to express themselves through the creative arts, work collaboratively in sport, and develop the digital skills they need for the future. Lessons are carefully designed to be purposeful and engaging, with a balance of challenge and support to ensure that every learner can succeed.

As Principal, I am privileged to lead such a vibrant and caring school community. I believe in working in partnership with parents and carers, and I encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education. Together, we can nurture curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
