Brandon Keesing of class 2/3B was nominated for the most recent award to be given at a Western Sydney Regional Level titled the Personal Achievement Award. To be eligible for this award, students must have a diagnosed disability. Brandon has Mitochondrial Myopathy which is a degenerative disorder resulting in severe muscle weakness and fatigue. He is a happy, positive and determined student who tries his best in everything he is faced with. He is very capable academically and particularly excels in the area of mathematics. Throughout his time at Metella Road PS, Brandon has participated in physical activities such as athletics carnivals, fitness, boys dance group and PSSA. His confidence has increased throughout the year and we could not be more proud of his achievements and willingness to grow and develop to his full potential. Congratulations Brandon on receiving the Outstanding Personal Achievement Award from the Regional Director of Western Sydney.
