Cooking and Creating
Our Kitchen Garden Initiative gives students the opportunity to grow, harvest and cook fresh food. Through hands-on experiences, students develop practical cooking skills, learn about healthy eating and discover where their food comes from. It is learning that is delicious, purposeful and lots of fun!
Kindergarten Coding
Our Kindergarten students are introduced to the exciting world of coding through hands-on experiences with Bee-Bots and Spheros. As they plan, program and problem-solve, students develop computational thinking, spatial awareness, collaboration and persistence, all while having fun!
Premier's Debating Challenge
Students have the opportunity to develop their confidence, communication and critical-thinking skills through the Premier’s Debating Challenge. They learn to construct persuasive arguments, listen to different perspectives and work collaboratively as a team while developing the skills to become confident speakers.
Buddy Classes
Our Buddy Classes bring younger and older students together regularly to learn, explore and share experiences. Through reading, activities, projects and play, students build positive relationships while developing confidence, communication and leadership skills. Our older students become role models and mentors, while younger students benefit from the encouragement and support of their buddies.
Dance Groups
Our Dance Groups provide students with the opportunity to express themselves through movement, develop their creativity and build confidence. Students learn routines, work collaboratively and perform for our school community; developing skills both on and off the dance floor.
Drumming Group
Our Drumming Group brings students together through rhythm, music and performance. Students develop coordination, concentration and confidence while learning to create music collaboratively. Most importantly, they discover the joy of making music together!
