Parents and Citizens Association
The P&C is made up of parents, carers and citizens who have associations with our school.
We are committed to a free public education system which is inclusive of all, irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability and socio-economic status.
We believe that parents & carers should partner in the education process of our students, and therefore have a right and a responsibility to play an active role in the education of their children.
The P&C support the many activities within the school and actively fundraise to provide additional resources or meet specific needs identified by the stakeholders.
Membership to the P&C is open to all; membership fee is $2 per annum.
Some of the P&C run fundraising events that you could get involved in are:
- Easter hat parade raffles
- Mother's Day gift stall
- Father's Day gift stall
- BBQ's (e.g. Election Days; Sports Days)
- Trivia Nights
- Family Bingo / Movie Nights
If you are interested in joining the P&C please complete a membership form and return with the $2 fee to the office. Or email your contact details to: MetellaRoadPandC@outlook.com and a member of the current executive will contact you.
The P&C meet at 6:00pm once a month on the second Monday; with the AGM being in September each year. Please feel welcome to come along.

On Friday, 1 December 2023, the P&C held a Trivia Night as their major fundraising event of the year. It was a successful event, full of fun, laughter and friendly competition! Our grand Raffle Competition was drawn on the night and the following winners were announced:
